He started by tying two sticks together to make a sword, and quickly progressed to more serious woodwork, including doing work experience at Peacock's Joinery. Our grandfather was a carpenter, and Mark uses his tools. More recently Mark has moved onto more intricate carving, such as the totem pole featured here, as well as more refined and styled wooden swords.
